No. Just because you pay for a policy,  doesn't mean you own it. In order to own a policy, you have to be listed in the contract as the owner. 

Typically as many as you want. You are allowed to have multiple beneficiaries. 

Job insurance is usually a group insurance policy owned by the company you work for.  You may not be able to keep the coverage once you leave, or the cost could substantially increase.
